Junior Secondary School
Learning how to learn

Junior Secondary School at AIS is a four-year program designed to build on the learning outcomes from primary education. The program aims to lay the foundation for lifelong learning and create the edifice to expand further educational opportunities in Senior Secondary School.
At this stage of a student’s education journey, subject-specialist teachers encourage students toward research and self directed learning within areas of study.

Australian International School Research and Development Program

The AIS-ReD Program starts in Junior Secondary school and aims to develop in all AISM students the invention and innovation abilities for solving real-world problems by providing an avenue to work on topics that align with their interests and passions. Students are encouraged to think outside the box, apply scientific inquiry, intuition, hands-on problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
